Andrew has always been drawn to communication β something about the way words can influence and inspire people hooked him early on. A year into grad school, he found himself on staff as a pastor, handed a mic and a stage to lead a student ministry. Not long after, he was asked to fill in as host of weekend services. He wrote a script, tried to memorize it, and then β in front of a thousand people β he blanked. He dipped below camera view, grabbed his notes, and stumbled through that service and the rest of the weekend. After that, he got benched.

Andrew tried different frameworks and structures to guide his communication, but they never fit β they only created more pressure and made him less like himself. With encouragement, feedback, and coaching from a few mentors, he kept rolling. He learned how to stop imitating others and prepare in a way that helped him show up as himself. That shift changed everything β not just as a communicator, but as a leader. Now he helps others do the same. Andrew lives in Wisconsin with his wife and their four kids (5 and under), where the family motto is "go pack go." When he's not working, he's out for a run, on the golf course, or as close to water as possible.
